Be Nice to Your Body (for freshman year and beyond) with Susan Fekety
Thursday June 14, 7:00-8:30 pm
FREE
Falmouth Memorial Library, 5 Lunt Road, Falmouth
Every fall, our brilliant, beautiful daughters enter college and
know their lives will never be the same. That first year is a
whirlwind of excitement, challenge, and the development of unfortunate
eating patterns, among other things. Let's have a conversation about
how to stay healthy in that first year, without developing an eating
disorder OR gaining the Freshman 15. We'll cover dorm-friendly snacks,
ways to maintain emotional equilibrium, and probably more. (These are
tools for living that parents might appreciate, too!)
Also remember — Susan's biweekly support groups continue on
the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Couldn't you use
a supportive community to help you refresh YOUR commitment to healthy living?
We learn together, laugh, and help each other move forward. There is a
one-time fee for this — and once you're signed up, you can drop in forever as
your schedule permits.
